To me, Faith felt like a wonderful combination of a great RPG video game and an old anime called Fushigi Yugi. There were times when the show dragged, as pointed out numerous times in other reviews, but for the most part, this drama was really great to watch.

King Gongmin ( Ryu Deok-Hwan ), who was held as a hostage in Yuan (China) for an extended period of time, becomes the King of Goryeo (Korea). He married Princess Nogoog ( Park Se-Young ), who is the Princess of Yuan. Choi Young ( Lee Min-Ho) and his men escort King Gongmin and Princess Nogoog from Yuan to Goryeo.

Ryu Deok Hwan is receiving a lot of praise from the director and writer of Faith because, despite his young age (being born in 87, same age as Lee Min-ho), he is the channeling the presence needed for the role of king. Princess No-Gook (Park Se Young)- A Yuan princess and Goryeo queen. Princess No-gook is a fearless and prideful woman.

This drama shows the love between a warrior from the Goryeo Period and a female doctor from the present day, their love transcending time and space. Yoo Eun Soo (Kim Hee Sun) is a 33-year old plastic surgeon in the year 2012.
